Location: Braintree, Massachusetts
About the Position
Our client is seeking a professional CDL A Driver for a local touch freight position based in Braintree, Massachusetts. Drivers will transport products from the warehouse to retail stores throughout the region using automatic trucks.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $31 per hour
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, with mandatory weekend work during peak season
- Start Time: Between 5:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
- Overtime: Available after 40 hours
- Start Date: June 30, 2026
- Employment Type: Long-term flex
Job Details
- Route Type: Local
- Freight: Touch freight, transporting products from the warehouse to retail stores
- Equipment: Automatic trucks
- Handling: Unload freight using a pallet jack and liftgate
- Delivery Area: Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Maine
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate an automatic CDL A vehicle on local delivery routes
- Transport and deliver products to retail stores
- Unload freight using a pallet jack and liftgate
- Complete deliveries throughout the assigned service area
- Follow all applicable transportation safety regulations and procedures
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Valid CDL A license
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
