Process Engineer

Develop standard work and ensure operators and supervisors are engaged and trained in running plant processes consistently. Commission new production equipment and processes, monitor modifications, upgrades, and troubleshoot existing processes. Work closely with the Plant and Maintenance Superintendents, Plant Engineer, and HSE Coordinator to monitor and improve the efficiency, output, and safety of the plant. Collaborate with the Corporate Engineering Team to ensure compliance with Corporate Process Standards, execute strategic initiatives (e.g., center lining), and resolve process issues. Make observations and take measurements directly; collect and interpret data to develop and implement process improvements. Provide technical leadership for environmental monitoring and ongoing performance of plant environmental controls and processes. Work closely with operators and staff who oversee quality control of raw materials, finished products, plant maintenance, product specifications, and production schedules. Identify root causes and recommend appropriate corrective actions proactively. Prepare and submit routine reports, and manage related action plans accordingly. Ideal Candidate Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. Minimum of 5‑10 years of related hands‑on work experience in a manufacturing environment with a proven track record of measurable results. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Basic detail and conceptual design skills. Experience with project management and implementation from initial planning stages to completion. Lean Six Sigma skills and experience preferred; Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred. Advanced analytical skills and creativity in solving problems/troubleshooting. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple short and long‑term projects. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), with the ability to effectively work with others in a team environment. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
