Radiology Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Radiology team. Provide practical nursing care across radiology services (IR/NVIR, CT, MRI) within scope of practice, supporting safe, efficient patient flow and high-quality care delivery.Deliver direct patient care under RN direction, including medication administration, injections, phlebotomy, peripheral IV placement, and point-of-care testingSupport pre- and post-procedure workflows: patient intake, education, preparation, and discharge instructionsRoom patients, obtain and document vital signs, complete medication reconciliation, and ensure readiness for proceduresAssist with therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, maintaining sterile technique and anticipating provider needsMonitor patients and promptly report changes in condition, abnormal findings, or concerns to RN/providerFull TimeDay ShiftsMinimum QualificationsCurrent license to practice as a practical nurse in the State of Washington.Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.Preferred RequirementsBasic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred; required within 3 months of hireExperience in procedural, ambulatory, or acute care setting preferredAbout UW Medical Center-MontlakeUW Medical Center is an acute care academic medical center located in Seattle with two campuses: Montlake and Northwest.
