Labor And Delivery Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care to laboring patients in a dynamic Labor and Delivery unit. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and positive childbirth experiences through expert clinical skills and compassionate support.

Responsibilities:

• Assess pregnant patients' conditions and monitor fetal well-being throughout labor.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
• Assist in labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth processes, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• BLS and NRP certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient advocacy skills.
• Comfortable working flexible hours, including shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
