Registered Nurse, OR Circulator

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse – OR Circulator collaborates with surgical teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care throughout procedures. Key Responsibilities Advocate for patients pre-, intra-, and post-surgery. Assess, monitor, and document patient vital signs and condition. Prepare operating room, instruments, supplies, and medications. Verify patient identity, procedure, and documentation accuracy. Maintain a sterile, safe environment and assist surgical team as needed. Assist with patient positioning, transportation, and postoperative care. Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and participate in quality improvement activities. Assist with room turnover and participate in rotating call schedule. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold an active, unrestricted RN license. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Strong critical-thinking, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and collaboratively with diverse healthcare professionals. Attention to detail, patient safety, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Previous operating room or perioperative nursing experience, knowledge of ambulatory surgery, and professional organization memberships are advantageous.
