Behavioral Health Registered Nurse

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing patients in a behavioral health setting. Duties include the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and providing care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure. Candidates must possess skills in central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, and IV vasopressor administration. Experience in BiPAP/CPAP management and the interpretation of arterial blood gases is also crucial. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the care of ventilated patients and must adhere to isolation precautions, including the use of personal protective equipment. The ability to triage patients effectively in a high-acuity environment is essential. This position involves working with diverse patient age groups, including infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census values fluctuate, requiring adaptability and strong behavioral health support capabilities. The nursing staff collaborates with interdisciplinary support teams, including therapy and pharmacy services. Candidates should be prepared to manage a variety of patient diagnoses within the behavioral health spectrum. In addition, compliance with required certifications and experience in managing high-acuity patients is expected. We encourage applicants who possess strong teamwork and communication skills.
