Territory Manager- Cape May County, NJ

Territory Manager Build relationships, drive sales, and make a meaningful impact in the foodservice industry by partnering with customers across Cape May County. Responsibilities Customer Champion : Own and nurture customer relationships in a team‑based selling model. Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations, and pricing strategies. Drive Sales Success : Increase case growth, acquire new business, and deliver impactful sales presentations tailored to individual customers. Team‑Based Selling : Work collaboratively with Specialists, marketing, supply chain, and customer service to pursue opportunities and open new accounts. Lead with Insight : Develop new business by identifying prospective customers using market‑intelligence databases, business directories, client leads, industry organizations, and trade shows. Delivery Resolution : Manage deliveries according to the transportation schedule, troubleshoot order‑process issues, and resolve problems such as mis‑picks or stock‑outs. Competitive Advantage : Share market, product, and competitor information with customers as a value‑added service. Stay on the Move : Use your personal vehicle to conduct site visits, follow‑ups, and check‑ins to ensure customer satisfaction. Supervision No direct reports. Work Environment Daily work outside the office, visiting customers under varying weather and temperature conditions. Minimum Qualifications 1+ year of sales experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license and good driving record. Experience in foodservice, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality preferred. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to build relationships and conduct cold calls to develop new business. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. Competitive spirit with drive to exceed goals. Problem‑solving, organizational, and negotiation skills. Team‑up mentality for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
