Job Summary:
A qualified Medical Surgical (Med Surg) Registered Nurse (RN) is sought for a travel assignment in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The position involves working on a Med Surg unit that includes orthopedic, surgical, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice care. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of assignment. This contract is for a 13-week duration with scheduled night shifts.

Job Details:

• Location: Poplar Bluff, Missouri

• Shift: Nights, 6:45 p.m. 7:15 a.m. (12 hours)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: BLS certification, 2+ years of relevant experience, valid medical licensure in the state of Missouri, no minimum experience requirement specified for this specific role, and familiarity with the Cerner electronic medical record system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Med Surg units including orthopedic, surgical, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, or hospice care.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates will be scheduled based on clinical needs; blocked scheduling requests will be considered but not guaranteed. Patient ratios range from 1:5 to 1:7 depending on acuity. RTO (Request for Time Off) must be requested with a maximum of 36 hours unless otherwise discussed. Blackout dates may include Easter, Mothers Day, or Memorial Day. Scrub color required: Royal Blue.
