Call Center Operator

Job Overview Telecommunication Customer Service Representative – full‑time. Located in Lansing, Michigan; applicants must be willing to relocate if not already in the greater Lansing area. Essential Job Functions Answer 100‑125 inbound calls daily with a friendly, problem‑solving attitude. Manage outbound tasks such as referrals, MRI scheduling, and other related duties. Maintain an average call time of 1.5‑2.5 minutes while exceeding patient expectations. Promptly answer phones, route calls, schedule appointments, route faxes, process referrals, verify insurance, and act as back‑up to the front office/receptionist. Manage multi‑line phone system, scheduling software, and electronic health records. Provide exemplary customer service to patients, staff, and other individuals. Explain office policies, procedures, and appointments accurately to patients. Handle high call volumes with a positive, professional demeanor. Scan, index, and file completed records into the electronic health record system. Qualifications Applicants must have previous experience in a telecommunication‑customer service role. Prior experience with a multi‑line phone system, scheduling software, and electronic health records in a medical office is preferred. Must possess strong customer service skills, multitasking ability, and thrive in a collaborative team environment. Location & Relocation Work location: In person – Lansing, MI 48911.
