Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in inpatient or outpatient settings and craft tailored treatment strategies
• Deliver physical therapy interventions focused on mobility, strength enhancement, balance, and functionality
• Engage with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and home exercise routines
• Maintain documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with regulatory standards and facility protocols
• Take part in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to ensure holistic patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent accredited degree

Certifications

• Valid state license as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred CPR certification
• Specialized certifications (for example, neurological or geriatric) are advantageous though not necessary

Skills

• Prior experience is highly desirable
• Capability to treat patients with intricate medical and mobility concerns
• Excellent communication and ability to work within a team setting
• Competent in using digital charting and clinical documentation tools
