Devops Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Devops Engineer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate with expertise designing reporting solutions, telemetry analytics, and data observability platforms to drive SDLC governance, compliance, and operational insights.


Rate Range: $45/hour to $46/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Devops Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design and develop SDLC control reporting, dashboards, scorecards, and executive metrics to provide visibility into engineering performance, compliance, and operational health.
• Build and maintain automated data ingestion, log processing, and reporting pipelines using Elastic Stack, Kafka, Redis, REST APIs, and related technologies.
• Integrate and analyze data from multiple enterprise platforms to generate actionable insights, KPIs, and trend analysis for stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Grafana, Power BI, Kibana, and SQL-based reporting solutions.
• Monitor platform telemetry and engineering metrics to identify compliance gaps, operational risks, exceptions, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, Security, Platform, and Governance teams to ensure data quality, reporting accuracy, metric standardization, and successful delivery of analytics solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6-9 years of experience in Data Engineering, DevOps Analytics, Reporting, Monitoring, or Enterprise Data Platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Grafana, Power BI, Kafka, Redis, and SQL for telemetry analysis, dashboard development, and data reporting.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java, REST APIs, log ingestion pipelines, SDLC/DevSecOps practices, CI/CD, Linux, and cloud technologies with the ability to translate platform metrics into actionable business insights.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $46.00 per hour
