Assistant Maintenance TechnicianParkVista Apartments is currently seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds through routine procedures and special work orders.Responsibilities:Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional mannerPerform apartment make-ready tasks, including repairs and unit preparationDiagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and air conditioning unitsIdentify and fix plumbing issues such as leaks and minor pipe repairsMaintain pool equipment and ensure compliance with safety standardsAssist with general property upkeep, including preventative maintenanceRespond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotationThis position is ideal for someone who is dependable, proactive, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance tasks to keep the property running smoothly.Requirements:Ability to lift and carry at least 20 lbs. or moreHVAC (A/C) certification requiredPool certification preferredBasic knowledge of HVAC systems, furnaces, and plumbingExperience with apartment maintenance, make-ready processes, and work order systemsWillingness to work on-call as needed (rotating schedule)Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailReliable transportation and valid driver's license preferredIndoor and outdoor work in various weather conditionsPhysically active role requiring standing, bending, lifting, and walkingFull-time with rotating on-call responsibilitiesBenefits:Competitive PayMedical and RxPaid Time OffRetirement and 401kShort-Term DisabilityLong-Term DisabilityVoluntary LifeVisionDental
