Work Environment\nThis role is designed to be fully remote, providing flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While the core hours are consistent, some flexibility may be required to meet the specific needs of your patients. As part of our strong commitment to teamwork, you'll collaborate closely with other mental health professionals through virtual platforms to ensure comprehensive care for all patients.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' psychological history and the impact of trauma on their daily lives. \n
- Design and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery and resilience. \n
- Utilize specialized therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing. \n
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies. \n
- Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure a cohesive treatment approach for our patients. \n
- Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, utilizing your training to assess and manage risks. \n
- Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, fostering understanding and awareness of available resources. \n
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care to continually enhance your practice. \n
- Stay informed about current research, therapeutic approaches, and best practices in the field of trauma therapy. \n
Your primary focus will be on clients who have experienced significant trauma, which can manifest in various forms of mental health challenges. By providing tailored support and utilizing evidence-based therapies, you’ll play a pivotal role in improving the quality of life for these individuals, many of whom struggle with PTSD, complex trauma, and accompanying symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas. \n
- A passion for trauma-informed care and commitment to supporting individuals through their recovery journey. \n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating compassion and a non-judgmental approach to interaction. \n

- At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focusing on trauma therapy and resilience-building. \n
- Expertise in trauma-related disorders and proficiency in a variety of trauma-informed treatment modalities. \n
- Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and provide effective interventions in high-stress situations. \n
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technology. \n
This position provides a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
