Software Developer (I):

Eminent Software Services LLC in East Windsor, CT is seeking Software Developers I to assist senior developers and work under the direction of Project Managers on various custom software development projects.

Job responsibilities and duties include:

• Under direction of senior developers and project managers, assist in designing and developing integration applications from end to end.
• Assist test teams to troubleshoot, identify and correct defects in applications.
• Under direction of senior developers and project managers, assist with writing custom SQL programs and queries to run customized reports and analyze corresponding data.
• Utilize Java/J2EE or .NET technologies to create custom applications.
• Participate in all phases of Software Development life cycle and work on continuous integrations.
• May perform other duties normally associated with the occupation.

This position does not supervise any other personnel.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) field of study, plus at least two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s). Employer will accept a three- or four-year degree and will accept a foreign degree.

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable knowledge, experience, skill and proficiency (gained through education or employment) with the following:

• 1. ETL
• 2. OLAP or OLTP
• 3. Oracle
• 4. Soap UI
• 5. XML
• 6. SOA
• 7. Java/J2EE or .NET
• 8. SQL

No travel; no telecommuting. Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated client sites within the U.S. which may require relocation at the end of each project.
