Servicenow Solution Architect
Our client, a State of California department, is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect to support the configuration, enhancement, and ongoing optimization of their ServiceNow platform. This role will serve as a technical and architectural lead, ensuring scalable, secure, and best-practice-aligned ServiceNow solutions that support enterprise business processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience administering and developing within ServiceNow environments, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders in a public sector environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Solution Architect for the ServiceNow platform, providing architectural guidance and technical leadership.
- Administer, configure, and enhance core ServiceNow applications, including but not limited to: Service Catalog, Service Portal, Knowledge Base.
- Design and implement workflows, custom applications, custom notifications, assessments, and web services within ServiceNow.
- Develop and configure solutions using the ServiceNow App Engine (Low-Code) environment.
- Ensure application security best practices are followed, including configuration of security controls within ServiceNow.
- Support integrations with enterprise directory services and other external systems.
- Apply relational database knowledge to support ServiceNow data structures and integrations.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer as required.
