Project Manager

Role Description The Project Manager’s responsibilities include planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. (S)He plans and designates project resources, monitors progress, and keeps stakeholders informed the entire way. The candidate will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline. Qualifications Coordinate internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget Develop project scopes and objectives, involve all relevant stakeholders andensure technical feasibility Ensure resource availability and allocation Interact with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and representing themin the field Develop a detailed project plan to track progress Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule andcosts Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders Perform risk management to minimize project risks Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Cooperate and communicate effectively with project participants to provide assistance andtechnical support Investigates complaints and communicates to the customer, as needed. Other duties as assigned Nonessential Functions Knowledge of the German Language Knowledge of Uhlmann Machines Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities CAD experience, with knowledge of SolidWorks preferred Knowledge of SAP desirable but not necessary Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong organizational competence with attention to detail Excellent time-management and project management skills Ability to work under minimal supervision Ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and management Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of the position Ability to have a strong sense of urgency Education, Experience, & Special Requirements Education : BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Licensing and/or Certifications: PMP desirable but not necessary Experience: Requires a minimum of 2 years of Project Management experience Special Requirements: Strong computer skills and strong organizational competence with attention to detail.
