Position: Contract & Commercial Expert Type: Contract Compensation: $110–$150/hour Location: Remote Role Responsibilities Develop long-horizon contracting tasks with deterministic rubrics to evaluate agent performance against verifiable ground truth. Create scenarios in Drafting such as MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and DPAs with required clauses and defined parameter values. Design Review and negotiation scenarios involving redlines that resolve to pre-defined fallback positions per a playbook. Build Post-signature work scenarios for obligation extractions and clause classification against a defined taxonomy. Collaborate with AI labs to ensure scenarios are challenging and require focused long sessions. Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance . Qualifications Must-Have JD ; 3+ years practicing commercial/transactional law (in-house or firm). Bar admission in at least one US state (or equivalent foreign qualification). Expertise in SaaS commercial terms, data protection ( GDPR , CCPA , DPAs ), IP and licensing, indemnity and limitation-of-liability structures, CLM tooling ( Ironclad , Agiloft , LinkSquares , DocuSign CLM ). Comfortable with contract artifacts: redlines, playbook entries, abstraction summaries, fallback positions. Clear written communication; can articulate reasoning step by step and encode it into deterministic rubrics.
