The Medical Inventory and Delivery Specialist for the MQ Infusion Program supports the management and control of sterile and non-sterile materials, equipment, and MQ supplies used in infusion services, following the guidelines established by program supervision. This role contributes to maintaining inventory availability and accuracy, as well as the continuous flow of supplies to AIS agencies, patient residences, and visiting nurses, ensuring regulatory compliance and coordination with pharmacy, nursing, and suppliers under the ongoing guidance and review of the area supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Supports inventory control and maintenance following the procedures and priorities established by program supervision.
• Maintains required levels of infusion materials and medical equipment in accordance with the supervisor’s instructions and reviews.
• Documents inventory receipts, withdrawals, adjustments, and returns in the clinical inventory system under the parameters defined by supervision.
• Verifies expiration dates, lot numbers, and storage conditions, reporting any findings to the supervisor for appropriate action.
• Verifies invoices and purchase orders to ensure quantities and descriptions match, reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor for review.
• Inspects received items to identify damage, defects, or non-compliance with specifications, reporting findings for approval of corrective actions.
• Records receipts in the clinical inventory system and organizes products in designated areas according to supervision instructions.
• Maintains storage areas clean, safe, and organized in accordance with the standards defined by the supervisor.
• Documents incidents, discrepancies, or returns according to internal policies and processes approved by supervision, providing timely notification for review.
• Performs daily counts and reports discrepancies for review and validation by supervision.
• Prepares for and participates in periodic physical inventories following the supervisor’s instructions and supporting the reconciliation process.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma.
• 1–3 years of experience in clinical inventory, pharmacy, medical supplies, or healthcare logistics.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with sterile and non-sterile materials and cold chain (preferred).
• Previous experience in receiving, validation, and inventory control.
