TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Norwich, Connecticut, 06360!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience along with PCU experience. License: RN License required. Certifications: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS required. Must-Have: - 2+ years ICU experience - PCU experience - Epic experience Description: Our unit will now be taking ICU overflow. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience along with experience in a step-down unit. The shift is 3x12 nights from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend and holidays as needed. This is a dual level of care unit, which includes telemetry, PCU, and ICU. The unit has a capacity of 25 beds. Expected patient-to-nurse ratios for all shifts are 1:5-6 on the floor side, 1:3 for PCU, and 1:2 for ICU. Common cases seen include chest pain, strokes, respiratory failure, and sepsis.
