Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven, and fully bilingual (English/Spanish) Mortgage Operations Manager to lead our operations team. In this role, you will manage the daily loan pipeline from origination through processing, underwriting, closing, and funding. Your main goal will be to optimize turn times, enforce strict quality control, and ensure absolute compliance with all federal and state lending regulations, while seamlessly communicating with both English and Spanish-speaking teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities

• Pipeline Management: Oversee and optimize the daily workflow of the operations team (Processing, Underwriting, and Closing) to guarantee timely loan file progression and on-time closings.
• Bilingual Leadership: Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of processors, underwriters, and closers, providing guidance in both English and Spanish as needed.
• Compliance & Regulation: Ensure all loan files strictly adhere to TRID, Dodd-Frank, HMDA, ECOA, and investor guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA).
• System Optimization: Directly manage pipeline workflow utilizing Lending QD to maximize operational efficiency.
• Conflict Resolution: Serve as the primary liaison and mediator between the sales team (Loan Officers) and the operations/risk teams to resolve complex file scenarios.
• KPI Monitoring: Track and actively improve key metrics, including turn times, pull-through rates, and file quality.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Language: Native or professional fluency in both English and Spanish is strictly required (written and verbal).
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the mortgage lending industry, with at least 2–3 years in an operations management or supervisory role.
• Software: Hands-on experience with Lending QD is highly preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Conventional, FHA, VA, and non-QM loan guidelines, as well as TRID disclosures and timelines.
• Skills: Strong leadership presence, exceptional problem-solving abilities under pressure, and sharp attention to detail. [1]
