Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CLD A Driver for Over-the-Road (OTR) routes to join our dynamic logistics team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate refrigerated trailers and transport freight across long distances, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Duties

• Operate tractor-trailers with refrigerated or specialized cargo across OTR routes, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards.
• Navigate using GPS systems efficiently to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing routes for fuel efficiency and safety.
• Load, secure, and unload freight, including logistics cargo handling for various types of cargo such as hazardous materials, dangerous goods, flatbed loads, or tankers.
• Transport automobile transportation or other specialized freight with precision and care, maintaining vehicle integrity and cargo safety.
• Comply with all FMCSA regulations related to commercial truck driving, hazardous materials handling, and transportation of dangerous goods.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips; report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in accordance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, preferably with delivery driving or route driving in an over-the-road setting.
• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with endorsements relevant to refrigerated trailers, hazardous materials (Hazmat), or tanker loads preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for long-distance freight delivery.
• Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols.
• Ability to handle manual handling tasks safely during loading/unloading processes.
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service excellence.
