Pediatric Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN)

The Pediatric Behavioral Health RN provides nursing care to children and adolescents with behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs. This role collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to assess patients, administer treatments, support therapeutic interventions, and promote safe, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor pediatric behavioral health patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and coping strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other care team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification required.
• Pediatric, psychiatric, or behavioral health experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
