Substitute School Support Nurse

The Mt. Lebanon School District is actively recruiting Substitute School Support Nurses. School Support Nurses provide first aid, medical, and clerical support in the school nurses offices of the elementary, middle, and high school buildings of the district. Individuals must possess either a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license in order to perform this role. Pediatric and/or medical surgical nursing experience helpful, CPR certification required. Substitutes may serve in per diem, short and long-term assignments to replace a permanent employee who is absent. Full or half-day assignments available with the ability to schedule in advance through our Health Services Department Director. 2026-2027 Rates: RN: $18.27 per hour LPN: $17.27 per hour Great opportunity to: Work with school-age groups of your preference Create your own flexible schedule Earn while you learn for individuals pursuing advanced medical support degrees In order to be eligible for employment, the following clearances must be furnished and approved for hire at time of job offer: Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151) Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check (Act 34) FBI Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114) The following additional trainings and forms are required upon hire: Act 126 Child/Student Abuse Recognition and Reporting Arrest or Conviction Form (PDE 6004) (Act 24) School Personnel Health Record (Physical with TB Test) Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Information (Act 168) Mt.
