Job Description
Title: RN - NICU

Schedule:
- Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Friday and/or Saturday night) AND 2 Sunday nights per 6-week schedule
- On-call: Two (2) 12-hour call shifts per 6-week schedule
- Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:
- Minimum years' experience: 2 years NICU
- Required certifications: BLS, NRP
- Must have both Kansas and Missouri licenses or a compact/eNLC license at time of submission

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to neonates and infants in a neonatal intensive care setting.
- Attend deliveries and provide post-birth stabilization and support.
- Administer respiratory support and manage ventilators and other neonatal respiratory modalities.
- Perform vascular access procedures and manage intravenous and central lines.
- Monitor and document patient status, administer medications, and assess for complications.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care and family education.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 24 hours (includes modules)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- Mandatory modules: 10-15 hours; due by the Monday 1 week prior to start
