Job Description

Precision Resource seeks Production Operators/Packers (will train) to join our well-established, stable Vernon Hills, Illinois manufacturing division. We're approximately 30 miles north of Chicago and 30 miles south of Kenosha, Wisconsin. We’re a medium sized division of our global company that innovates and manufactures a high volume of metal parts for automotive, aerospace, hardware and other industries.

Responsibilities

Sort, inspect and pack metal parts efficiently and according to work instructions.
Use visual inspection and basic measuring devices. Report discrepancies to the Lead person.
Participate attentively in training to perform product, process, and safety training correctly.
Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Accurately record time of jobs packed and workday on computer (will train).
Absolutely reliable attendance at work.
Compliance with policies, procedures and instructions, including Code of Conduct

Qualifications

Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Able to read, speak and write basic English; bilingual Spanish ideal.
Able to follow basic verbal and written instructions.
Able to count and measure accurately.
Work at a fast past efficiently.
Capable of standing bending, reaching, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
Meet expectations starting at $17-$19 depending on shift (shift differential is 10% above base rate).
Promotion possibility, if desired and able, to learn and operate basic machines for career training and pay advancement.
