Human Resources Assistant

Pacer Staffing is hiring a Human Resources Assistant for an onsite contract role in Archbald, PA . This position provides administrative support to the HR department, with a focus on maintaining accurate HR records and supporting key onboarding and training processes. The schedule runs on a 4/10 basis (Monday to Thursday) . In this role, you will help manage both manual and electronic documentation, coordinate parts of new hire orientation, and support training record workflows. You will also handle recruiting-related administrative tasks such as requisition status updates, along with event or activity coordination when needed. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support for HR department operations Support new employee orientation Manage training record processes and related documentation Handle requisition statusing as assigned Assist with event/activity support Maintain manual and electronic HR records Collect, compile, and manage sensitive and confidential data Prepare presentations and reports upon request Requirements High School education, plus some real HR experience actively using HR systems At least 5 years of prior HR experience Experience interacting effectively with employees across all levels Experience using HR Information Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams Ability to be onsite full time to support the 4/10 schedule (M-Th) Be at work prior to 7:00am on Mondays when new employee orientation is scheduled (flexibility may apply for start/end times on other days) Technologies Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) HR Information Systems (HRIS) Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) SAP SuccessFactors ATS Experience Preferences HR experience in a manufacturing or other industrial setting is preferred Prior experience using SAP SuccessFactors is preferred Formal education in HR or a related field is strongly preferred Human resources management: 3 years (preferred) SAP SuccessFactors: 2 years (required) ATS: 2 years (required) HRIS: 2 years (required) Manufacturing/Industrial: 3 years (required) Schedule, Location, and Pay Location: Archbald, PA 18403 (onsite, in person) Schedule: 4/10 A-1st Shift (Monday to Thursday) Expected hours: 40.0 per week Pay: USD $24.00 - $26.92 per hour Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Contract Details Job type: contract Duration: 12 months (extension possible based on business needs and performance) #J-18808-Ljbffr
