Job Summary: This role supports accounting for the Contracted Energy segment. Primary duties include the following: posting journal entries, accrual accounting, reconciliations, day to day maintenance of a general ledger, conduct ad hoc assignments and analysis, preparation of financial reports, perform appropriate accounting controls, routinely interact with internal customers.

Note: This position will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate's qualifications.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience:

Accountant: 2-4 years of general accounting experience or 1 year of experience working in public accounting. Senior Accountant: 5-7 years of general accounting experience or 4+ years of public accounting experience. Note: A Master's degree will count as one year towards experience requirement specific to the general accounting experience requirement. Specific knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience include: broad knowledge of U.S. General Accounting Principles (GAAP), practices and procedures, excellent computer skills including strong proficiency using Excel (working with large spreadsheets), effective communication, interpersonal and customer service skills, excellent analytical skills, strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task, ability to work independently and as a member of a team, CPA preferred but not required.

Education Requirements: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor Preferred Disciplines: Accounting, Business, Finance Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Expected Hiring Base Salary Range: Accountant $65500 - $85000 Senior Accountant $81900 - $106400 The expected hiring base salary range is the range we anticipate hiring within for this position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and work location. This is not intended to represent the full salary range for the position or limit future compensation growth.
