Overview Department: Resource for OR, PACU, IR, and Inpatient Schedule: Part Time Nights Hospital: Lucas Family Brain and Spine Location: Indianapolis, IN This position will act as a liaison between the operating room, international radiology, PACU and the inpatient unit to create a seamless transition of care as the patient progresses through their healthcare journey. This position will support OR and IR staff by assisting with room turnover, room setup, calling in call teams from all departments, and lending a hand whenever needed. This associate will also assist in PACU when needed and help post-recovery in the inpatient space as needed. This is a great opportunity for experienced RNs to grow their skills and work closely with management across each department at Brain and Spine. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requirements BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire required. Additional Preferences No additional preferences.
