A top national professional services firm is seeking an Audit Senior for its state and local government practice in Peoria, Illinois. You will plan, lead and execute assurance engagements for state and local government clients.

Location: Peoria, IL

Responsibilities:

• Plan, lead and execute assurance engagements
• Work closely with client decision makers across a wide range of assurance procedures
• Audit complex areas and prepare financial statements and reports
• Research and report on accounting and auditing issues
• Schedule, delegate and train team members
• Develop and maintain client relationships

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
• 2 years of relevant audit experience
• State and local government experience a plus
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
