Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Vehicle Patrol Healthcare in Valencia CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and provide professional customer service to patients visitors and staff. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures policies and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings parking areas entrances and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents medical emergencies disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity report suspicious behavior or security-related hazards and maintain accurate incident and activity documentation.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by providing directions supporting de-escalation efforts and communicating professionally with hospital personnel and the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Have at least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
