Data AnalystGenesis10 is currently seeking a Data Analyst for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in McLean, VA or Richmond, VA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.This role involves professional data analysis, programming, and project management within an AWS environment. The ideal candidate will conduct analysis to evaluate and improve processes, perform system integration and data validation, and manage projects while communicating status updates to senior leadership.Responsibilities:Conduct analysis to evaluate processes and tests, identify gaps, and develop plans for resolutionPerform system integration, data validation, and quality checksManage projects by setting up meetings, creating agendas, taking notes, and following up on action itemsReport project status and communicate effectively with stakeholders up to the Senior Director levelUtilize Python to automate the creation of Google Slides, Sheets, and Docs with charts and data tablesRequirements:Approximately 5 years of overall experienceAt least 4 years of professional data analysis work experienceAt least 4 years of programming experienceAt least 5 years of experience with Python, SQL, or Spark, and DatabricksAt least 1 year of experience in Tableau or AWS QuicksightProficient in utilizing and developing within AWS servicesDesired skills:At least 1 year of experience in people management or project managementExperience creating project timelines, defining milestones, and deliverablesExcellent presentation and communication skills (clear, concise, logical)Customer-facing experience, with the ability to address stakeholder needs and provide real-time project status updatesPrevious working experience with a bankQuick learner and a team playerPay range: $66.25 - $74.25 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
