Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Facilitate virtual therapy sessions with individuals and groups, providing therapeutic support to clients experiencing a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship challenges. \n
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, addressing personal and familial dynamics, unhealthy behavior patterns, and critical life transitions. \n
- Utilize an interactive telemedicine platform to conduct sessions, ensuring a welcoming and secure environment for clients. \n
- Encourage and guide clients in developing coping strategies and skills to navigate their emotions and improve their overall mental health. \n
- Regularly assess client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal results. \n
Your work will focus on a diverse client population, including individuals struggling with personal issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness, and significant life transitions. Many clients will also seek assistance with end-of-life planning and medication/pain management challenges. You will play a crucial role in providing these clients with the tools they need to improve their mental health, facilitating profound changes in both their lives and relationships.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution. \n
- An active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential in the state of Oregon. \n
- At least three years of prior experience working as a Marriage and Family Therapist, particularly with diverse populations facing various mental health challenges. \n
- Proficient in using computers and telehealth technology, including video conferencing software; previous telemedicine experience is highly desirable. \n
- Strong understanding of therapeutic principles, methodologies, and procedures relevant to mental health diagnosis, treatment, and family dynamics. \n

- Experience working in a community health setting with an understanding of the unique challenges faced by clients in these environments. \n
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and other clinic management tools. \n
- Training in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or solution-focused therapy. \n
The salary range for this role is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
