Job Description

The Occupational Therapist provides diagnostic evaluations and treatment to assigned patients, aiming to help them reach their maximum performance level and apply learned skills to function effectively within their community while considering their capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Consult on environmental design, adaptive equipment, patient positioning to prevent contractures, and splinting.
• Advise agencies including local schools, nursing homes, visiting nurse associations, and hospitals.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records and reports.
• Provide therapy for neurological integration, including sensor-motor integration and visual perceptual-motor remediation.
• Administer treatment programs for patients with orthopedic, neurologic, cardiac, and balance disorders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in occupational therapy.
• Current valid Washington state Occupational Therapist license or in process of obtaining.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
