Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Patient Access Technician for our Cardiac Rehab Team who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Patient Access Technician, you will:
• Facilitate patient enrollment in outpatient programs through accurate capture of patient information (clinical and demographic) via electronic and paper means.
• Answer phones and perform scheduling functions courteously and promptly using customer-centered language.
• Assist the therapy team members with the delivery of hands-on care as directed and instructed
• Maintain the department cleanliness and supplies through cleaning, organizing, stocking, and ordering materials and supplies
• Participate in tasks such as faxing, scanning, report generation, and other administrative tasks as requested and instructed
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualified candidates will possess:
• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred - Associate degree in health-related field
• Preferred 1-2 years' experience in a customer-facing role in healthcare
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Work Schedule:

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week
• Typical Daily Schedule: 8:30am-5:00pm

Pay Range:
$19.21 - $24.90
If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

United States of America (Non-Exempt)
