As a Rippling Spend, Account Manager, you are the CEO of your book of business. Your primary objective is to increase the value of Rippling’s Spend for your customers through growth, expansion and retention of the Rippling Spend SKUs (Expenses, Corp Cards, Bill Pay, and Travel). Rippling Spend is a unique product pillar as our revenue overwhelmingly relies on consumption. Account managers will own the relationship with the Financial Suite at their accounts and will partner with the HR/IT Account Managers. If a sales-driven Account Manager role in an extremely fast-paced environment, along with being a founding member of a team ignites your excitement, you’re in the right place.What you will doProactively engage customers in your book via key lifecycle events: renewals, company growth, EBRs, increased credit/spending needs, etc.Consult with clients to understand their finance needs through a solutions-based selling approachNavigate a sales process by building relationships with multiple stakeholders through remote meetingsBuild and manage a pipeline of expansion and growth/consolidation opportunities to achieve monthly targetsDevelop and demonstrate a broad knowledge of current and new Rippling products via executing customer adoption playbooks and prospectingPartner with cross-functional product, support, and customer operations teams to ensure customer success and secure long term commitmentsTake an entrepreneurial approach to the roleWhat you will need3+ years of SaaS experience in account management, sales, or quota-carrying customer successExperience in FinTech or background in Accounting/Finance preferredTrack record of consistently meeting and exceeding quota via new product sales and upgrades Competitive and creative drive to win over customers and think outside the box to get a deal doneDemonstrated ability to run a sales discovery and demo meeting and run a structured sales processProven success building and maintaining long term commercial relationshipsHighly effective communicator with good people instincts – able to build trust and work well with a diverse group inside and outside the companyHighly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented; great follow-through on projects/tasks big and smallHigh integrity; enthusiastic about building a great company for the long termCourage to challenge the status quo when logic and reason require it.
