Job Description & Requirements Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) – Skilled Nursing Facility Monticello, Florida We are seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week Skilled Nursing Facility contract in Monticello, Florida . This post-acute rehab opportunity offers the chance to work with adult and geriatric patients while helping them improve independence, safety, mobility, and overall functional ability. This is a great fit for an OT who enjoys working in a collaborative rehab environment, building relationships with patients, and helping individuals regain function during their recovery. Position Highlights Skilled Nursing Facility / Post-Acute Rehab 13-Week Travel Contract Full-Time Schedule Adult & Geriatric Patient Population Collaborative Rehab Team Monticello, Florida Responsibilities Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and reassessments. Develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving ADLs and functional independence. Treat orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and medically complex patients. Provide ADL retraining, upper extremity rehabilitation, transfer training, cognitive interventions, and adaptive equipment education. Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, PT, SLP, and case management. Educate patients and caregivers on safety strategies, home modifications, and discharge planning.
