to join our busy and expanding ophthalmology practice. This is an excellent opportunity to enter a rewarding healthcare field—no prior experience required, we will train the right candidate!RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDEGreeting and rooming patients; verifying patient informationObtaining medical and ocular history and documenting chief complaintPerforming pre-testing (visual acuity, tonometry, visual fields, OCT, etc.)Refracting patients (training provided)Assisting the physician with examinations, minor procedures, and injectionsAdministering eye drops and preparing patients for examsScribing for the physician as neededMaintaining accurate and timely electronic medical recordsCleaning and stocking exam rooms and equipmentEducating patients on medications, treatments, and post-visit careCoordinating patient flow to minimize wait timesQualifications:Excellent customer service and communication skillsStrong typing and computer skills (EMR experience a plus)Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced settingPositive attitude and team-oriented mindsetWillingness to learn and be trainedWHAT WE OFFERFull-time positionCompetitive payBenefits package including paid vacation, sick leave and holidays (including your birthday)Employee sponsored health insurance: Medical, Dental and Vision401(k) retirement plan/Profit SharingEmployee discounts on exams and hardware(glasses, contacts)Paid gym membershipOn-the-job training and opportunities for growth\nCompany DescriptionMountain View Eyecare has been bringing Montana into focus since 2006.
