Business Systems AnalystJob Location: Columbus, OH or Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid, 3 days onsite) Contract Length: 3 Months (Contract-to-Hire)The Business Systems Analyst Senior works with the business partners within multiple business units to align technology solutions with business strategies. Provides advanced technical and consultative support to other team members. Maintains in-depth knowledge of applications and stays current in technical enhancements, methodologies and trends related to the assigned application(s). Analyzes existing systems or procedures and identifies technical or procedural improvements that will provide operational efficiencies, reduces potential risk to us, and improves end user experiences.Duties and Responsibilities:Builds relationships with business partners who leverage ServiceNow with a goal to understand their needs, advocate on their behalf, maintain platform designed standards and governance, and communicate effectively between business and technical usersDevelops an in-depth understanding of complex business processes and functional behaviors of assigned applications, potential design and integration of technical solutions, including upstream and downstream dependencies and impactsWorks with key stakeholders to capture business and user requirements as well as establish and strengthen the relationship between teamsOwns the relationship with stakeholders to identify, model, and document business processes and data requirementsPartners with Scrum and Production Support teams to ensure all documented requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered to specificationFacilitate scope, discovery, and design sessions, and communicates with business partners on story status and follow-upAlign IT resources and processes to meet the client organization’s needs, as well as the design of enterprise solutionsBuilds roadmaps with business partners and execute stories within sprint timelinesPerform other duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience4+ years of related experienceThis is a Hybrid workplace position, where colleague will need to work at the assigned work location a minimum 3 days per weekPreferred Qualifications:ServiceNow platform knowledge and experienceKnowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and toolsStrong organizational, written, and oral communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesExperience in a Business Analyst role performing the listed responsibilities, including experience with the following artifacts: assisting in creation of scope documents, eliciting and documenting functional/non-functional requirements and use cases, and producing process flows using Visio or equivalent toolExperience facilitating groups sessions to gather requirements with ability to ask relevant questions to drill into the detailsExperience tracking and driving deliverables to completionProblem-solver mindset; ability to work through grey areas independently with minimal supervisionProficiency with Microsoft (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)Demonstrate technical skills and the ability to learn technology My3Tech Inc
