Nuclear Medicine Technologist

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET/CT) with 1+ years of experience and required NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) certification. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience required BLS certification required NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) certification required NMTCB(CT), ARRT(R), or ARRT(CT) certification required State license required in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography if applicable Level I or II trauma experience preferred Teaching hospital experience preferred Epic EMR experience preferred Radiation badge must be provided by candidate as facility does not supply one Driver's license and Social Security number required for consideration Responsibilities Nuclear Medicine department performing PET/CT scans in a teaching hospital setting Adult and pediatric patient population 5x8 hour day shifts with varying start times between 6:30am-10am and end times between 3pm-7pm No holiday shifts required No on-call requirement Occasional Saturday coverage needed for PET/CT scans if camera is down or backlog occurs No floating between service lines or to sister facilities Uses Siemens PET/CT equipment Epic charting system preferred Performs a range of nuclear medicine procedures including bone scans, thyroid studies, renal scans, HIDA scans, MUGA scans, and various PET/CT imaging studies First-time travelers will be considered Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis within a 60-mile radius All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application Scrub requirement is teal top with black pants Staff may be assigned to emergency response duties during hurricane season, which runs June through November Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 1 shift per 2-week period Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-740206 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
