Medical Surgical Oncology - Travel Registered Nurse- $2390 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live>60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Preferred Skills/Experience:Inpatient oncology experience preferred; hematology and bone marrow transplant experience a bonus.

Unit Details:Cares for medically complex hematology/oncology patients requiring blood products, antibiotics, and symptom/side effect management.Chemotherapy assignments may be given if trained.Uses Philips Care Monitors, glucometers, bladder scanners, language line, and zebra phone.Ratios: 1:3 for patients receiving chemotherapy or BMT, 1:4-5 for regular oncology patients, and 1:4-6 on nights.Will not work alone.

Shift&Scheduling:Day/night rotating schedule.Every other weekend and every other holiday.No call required.

Floating Requirements:Float to all med-surg units/locations within Fargo as needed, including other med-surg units at Broadway and Fargo med-surg units at Med Center or South.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver's license required for submission
