We have been tasked with finding aspiring teachers across all subjects through both salaried and unsalaried teaching routes. This History Graduate opportunity is offered as a “Earn, while you teach & learn” route – which is a Salaried Schools Direct scheme. Key points about the scheme Paid position on the Unqualified Teacher (UQT) scale (most commonly UQ1) Employed directly by a school from day one Higher initial teaching load, typically around 15 periods per week Teaching load gradually increases to approximately 20 periods per week One dedicated training day per week Opportunity to gain QTS with PGCE (optional opt-out available if required) Working at one School throughout – avoiding any conflict in different teaching styles (reducing stress on teacher) One of the Schools is now looking for an Aspiring History Teacher to join their Secondary School this September 2026.
