Child & Adolescent PsychiatristCFG Health Network is seeking a dedicated Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at St. Clare's Hospital in Boonton, NJ on a part-time or per diem basis. This flexible position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and their families in a supportive and dynamic hospital setting. Must hold an active state medical license in New Jersey along with CDS and DEA.Experience: Previous experience in child and adolescent psychiatry is preferred.Strong clinical skills and experience in psychiatric evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents.Skills and Competencies: Ability to diagnose and treat a broad range of psychiatric disorders, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, trauma, and more.Excellent communication skills with both children, adolescents, and their families.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Experience with medication management and evidence-based therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT).Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach to care.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct psychiatric evaluations for children, adolescents, and their families to assess mental health conditions, emotional distress, and behavioral concerns.Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for patients, incorporating evidence-based therapies and medications when appropriate.Provide medication management and adjust treatment protocols as needed, with regular follow-up appointments.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, social workers, pediatricians, and school personnel, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.Offer counseling and psychoeducation to patients and their families regarding mental health, treatment options, and coping strategies.Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.Provide crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric care as needed.Stay current with the latest research, treatment approaches, and guidelines in child and adolescent psychiatry.Work with Psychiatry residents as needed.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
