Finance Director

Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Finance Director to join their team.In this exciting hybrid role (2-3 days in office), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our company. You will be an entrepreneur-minded leader, developing and implementing innovative financial strategies while maintaining strong internal controls. You will partner closely with commercial, production, and operations teams to drive profitability and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial controls and guidelines to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to create accurate financial forecasts and budgets that support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee all aspects of the accounting function, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bookkeeping.
• Support the development of reporting processes across the organization, leveraging data modeling to provide valuable insights to leadership.
• Partner with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on investor relations, presentations, and capital calls.
• Maintain a deep understanding of US GAAP standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring ongoing compliance.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in professional accounting, preferably within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
• Strong understanding of banking, financial data analysis, and financial project management.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certification (CPA or CA preferred).
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Suite products (including Dynamics AX & Power BI) is a plus.
