Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Utilizing state-of-the-art radiographic and CT techniques to produce diagnostic images for medical evaluation
- Collaborating seamlessly with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure precise diagnosis and treatment plans
- Expertly positioning patients to optimize image quality while ensuring their comfort and safety
- Implementing stringent radiation safety protocols for patient and team well-being
- Maintaining meticulous records, including imaging logs and equipment oversight
- Delivering empathetic patient care from the beginning to the end of the imaging process
- Enhancing a safe, organized, and efficient working environment within the imaging department
- An Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is necessary; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic program is a prerequisite
- ARRT certification (in CT or Radiography) is required
- A current BLS certification is needed or the ability to acquire it within 90 days of hire
- Thorough understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety regulations
- Exceptional communication skills that foster rapport with patients and the medical team
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while adapting to evolving demands
- A keen attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility
- Comfort with modern imaging technology, including PACS, RIS, and advanced imaging software
