Data Governance Lead / Data Steward with Security Clearance

Title Data Governance Lead / Data Steward (Full-Time/Part-Time) Description RiVidium is seeking a Data Governance Lead / Data Steward to support our planned MODES III team supporting Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP). This role supports IT, Cybersecurity, and Data Operations - Core Operations and helps deliver mission-focused outcomes for service members, families, and related stakeholders. The position supports an assigned PWS task area; provides subject matter expertise, operational execution, and measurable performance reporting aligned to task objectives. This position is contingent upon contract award. Key Responsibilities Lead data governance and stewardship practices that improve enterprise data quality and control. Help define and maintain standards for data quality, structure, access, and lifecycle control. Coordinate with data owners, analysts, and technical teams to improve trust and usability of data. Contribute to governance reporting, issue tracking, and policy-aligned data handling. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience. Relevant experience aligned to the role and labor category; openings may be filled at Lead (15+ yrs). Ability to satisfy applicable Government personnel security requirements for the assigned role. For IT and cybersecurity workforce positions, applicable DoD 8140 training and certification requirements will apply upon award. Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills in a mission-focused delivery environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with data pipelines, dashboards, visualization tools, analytics, or reporting automation, as applicable to the role. Ability to translate operational data into actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with data quality, governance, and performance metrics in enterprise environments. Work Setting This role is expected to support work in the Alexandria, Virginia area, with on-site support at the DoD Mark Center or other customer-approved locations as required.
