Experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Technician

Position Summary Clarke Power, an industry leader, is currently looking for an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Technician for 2nd shift Monday-Friday. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Familiar with all aspects of light and medium duty chassis, suspension, HVAC, engine, transmission, and electrical systems. Excellent diagnostic skills Diagnose cause of non-conformance, identify corrective action necessary to correct non-conformance. Diagnose and repair basic equipment wiring. Must be able to use computer diagnostics Good verbal and written communication skills Must be able to work independently

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

5+ years' experience required Preferred – Diesel or Automotive Program Certificate or degree Experience with some or all of the following engine platforms: Detroit, Cummins, Paccar, Isuzu, Hino, Mack, Volvo ASE Certifications a big plus. State Inspector License also a big plus

PHYSICAL AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

The associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs with assistance. The associate must be able to read and write reports. Implement and enforce Health and Safety legislations, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions. Valid Driver’s License CDL a plus Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card Company may assist with obtaining additional certificates/licenses Benefits
