HC - Nursing (Acute Care Local + Per Diem) WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Marlborough, MA. This role is ideal for a clinically strong RN who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is confident caring for patients experiencing life‑threatening conditions. Job Description: Compensation : $ 59.52 Job ID : 45137 Job Function : Shift & Hours: 32 hrs | 4x8 Nights 10:45 PM – 7:15 AM | EOW (Fri/Sat) | EOH. Manage the care of adult and/or pediatric patients with critical, life‑threatening conditions requiring rapid assessment and high‑intensity interventions . Provide emotional support, education, and clear communication to patients and families during emergency situations . Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, recognizing when early intervention is needed . Prepare patients for surgery, imaging, and diagnostic procedures . Perform essential emergency procedures including IV insertion, medication administration, blood draws, and airway support (intubation assistance ) . Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR .
