It's an exciting time to join our business because Crown offers you the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in an expanding industry.Crown was founded with the goal of valuing and promoting sustainability and this vision continues to be essential to our long-term future.Job Description:Quality ManagementDevelop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with company and customer requirements.Ensure compliance with applicable standards, including SQF, HACCP, and GMP, or other industry-specific quality systems.Lead internal and external audits and coordinate corrective actions.Manage customer complaints, non-conformance investigations, internal defects, and quality improvement activities.Responsible for monitoring process data, validating check frequency per the corporate requirements, and reporting concerns to supervision.Operate several web-based databases for quality data and supplier performance.Establish and monitor quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting systems.Oversee product and process quality assurance activities.Ensure effective control of documentation, specifications, procedures, and work instructions.Lead supplier quality improvement efforts and collaborate with procurement on supplier performance issues.Maintain quality equipment through calibration and external repair.Review all process control records, spoilage collections, and entry of all defective material related data.Continuous ImprovementDevelop and execute strategic continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives.Lead Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and waste reduction activities.Facilitate cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities.Champion problem-solving methodologies such as:Root Cause Analysis (RCA)8DPDCADMAICMonitor project effectiveness and sustain gains through standardization and control plans.Drive productivity, efficiency, cost reduction, and operational excellence programs.Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop quality and continuous improvement personnel.Train employees in quality tools, Lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, and operational excellence.Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, supply chain, and customer service teams.Data Analysis & ReportingAnalyze quality and operational performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.Develop and maintain dashboards and KPI scorecards.Utilize statistical analysis tools to support process improvements.Present findings and recommendations to plant and senior leadershipKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesTechnical SkillsQuality Management Systems (QMS)Lean ManufacturingSix Sigma MethodologiesFailure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)Root Cause AnalysisProcess Mapping and Value Stream MappingMicrosoft Office SuiteLeadership SkillsTeam leadership and developmentEffective communication and presentationChange managementProject managementCross-functional collaborationAnalytical SkillsData analysis and interpretationStatistical analysisProblem-solving and decision-makingKPI development and monitoringWorking ConditionsManufacturing and office environment.Frequent interaction with production personnel, customers, suppliers, and leadership teams.Occasional travel for supplier visits, customer meetings, audits, and training.What Crown Offers You Strong engagement and commitment to the safety of our employeesThe opportunity to build a meaningful career Professional and personal development through training and work experiences Join us and become part of a team of professionals who are passionate about sustainable packaging!Working Together Working Together is one of the five pillars that make up our Twentyby30 program.
