Essential Functions Locate and select the specific warehouse items to fulfill the customer’s order Load and unload items using machines, carts and dollies Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks Perform visual inspections of orders to ensure accuracy according to quantity, size, etc. Wrap orders before loading on trucks Maintain equipment and report on equipment malfunctions Comply with all applicable company policies, procedures, OSHA and Food Safety regulations Ensure cleanliness and good housekeeping of the specific production line and surrounding general area throughout the shift Education & Experience and Competencies Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work with others in a team environment Strong Interpersonal skills Active listening skills Innovative and creative thinking High school diploma or GED equivalent Speak and write English satisfactorily At least 1 year of recent and successful experience performing the above functions in a significant manufacturing or warehouse/distribution environment. Prefer that such experience is in the food industry.
