Dental Assistant – Modern Private Dental Office

Hourglass Dental is a modern, high-end private dental practice (not a corporate or DSO office) looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team. We focus heavily on cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery using modern technology in our daily workflow.

We’re looking for someone with a great attitude, strong work ethic, and a true team-player mindset. Personality and reliability matter just as much to us as clinical skills. Our goal is to provide excellent care and a great experience for every patient, and we value assistants who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a supportive team.

This role involves chairside assisting for general, cosmetic (veneers), and surgical procedures (extractions and implants) in a well-organized environment, and helping wherever needed to keep the office running smoothly. This includes administrative tasks such as patient phone calls and verifying insurance. We’re happy to train the right person who is motivated, dependable, and eager to learn.

Requirements include dental assistant certification per Florida requirements, radiology certification, current BLS certification, knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards, and strong communication skills. Being punctual, professional, and positive is essential. 1+ year of experience is preferred however we are willing to train the right individual who has a positive attitude and is eager to learn.

Business Hours: Mon-Thu 7am-4pm. Fri 7am-2pm. We normally work through lunch which allows us to finish early.

Compensation: Dependent on skill level. Opportunity for increased compensation as you grow your skillset.
